During half term week, training sessions are at the usual holiday times:

Tuesday:
1st Session 6.00 – 6.45
2nd Session 6.45 – 7.30
3rd Session 7.30 – 8.30

Friday:
1st Session 6.30 – 7.15
2nd Session 7.15 – 8.00
3rd Session 8.00 – 9.00

Training as usual on the two Sundays.

Here are the results from the final round of the Rother League held in Basingstoke on the 21st September. Apologies for taking a while to publish these – it’s been very difficult to understand the fiendishly complicated scoring system! The gala results were as follows:

..and that means we achieved third place overall in Division 4 (West). Our ranking position in the Hampshire and South Coast League has increased from 20th to 15th.

During the three rounds of the tournament, our senior squad performed better than those in any of the other teams in the Division. As a result, they were awarded with this trophy.

All swimmers age 8 and under who take part will be presented with a Medal at presentation night.

RESULTS WILL BE PUT ON THE BOARD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  Please note that just because someone wins a heat that does not mean that they will win as the top 5 swimmers (fastest times) for each age group win the prizes.

WEAR A T-SHIRT TO POOLSIDE ON THE DAY – Nylon ones are best. NAMED PLEASE Drinks in plastic bottles with names on. NO SWEETS

PLEASE NOTE:  Every swimmer will swim in graded heats in their own age group where possible. We cannot guarantee the exact times as listed. Some swimmers will be advised not to enter a stroke race because their strokes are not legal and they will be disqualified. THERE MAY BE SOME NIGHTS THAT SWIMMERS WILL NOT BE SWIMMING.

OPENS
These will be by invitation only (probably swimmers in each age group)
These will be 50m races except for the senior fly which is 100m

11 years – 14 years
14 years and over

The triathlon at Ringwood Leisure Centre has been cancelled so training can take place as usual.
