A big welcome to Lisa who has taken on the job of running the Seals Swim Shop. The shop is open at various times during training and sells – at cost – official Seals swimming costumes, hats, bags, hoodies and shirts, as well as goggles and other swimwear.

The Centre has informed us that: “we are not entering Seals parents car registrations onto the Parking Eye system due to the volume and inconsistency that would be involved.” Instead, the centre wants us to enter our car registrations at the terminals placed at reception every time we visit the site. It has provided this FAQ to explain the system.

Many people have been receiving parking notices despite having provided car registration details. There have also been times, as on Tuesday night, when the registration terminals were not working. If you think you have been unfairly issued with a parking notice and wish to contest it, read this article from MoneySavingExpert.

“Private parking companies have no official right to fine you, though they may try to make you think they do. All they’re doing is sending you a notice of what they deem to be a breach of contract.”

No training Good Friday or Easter Sunday.
